Born on May 8th, 1977 (coincidentally Robert Johnson’s 66th birthday), and playing guitar since the age of 4, JOE BONAMASSA caught the attention of some of the world’s best blues players while not even in his teens. B.B. King discovered the young prodigy at 12 years old, sparking the beginning of his career. In his mid teens he recorded one studio disc with BLOODLINE and has subsequently released three awesome solo studio discs which solidify him as being one of the finest exponents in carrying the blues/rock torch brightly these daze. JOE BONAMASSA is an extraordinary blues and rock guitarist, composer, and vocalist. It is truly unblievable to hear sounds that cry out with such intensity and experience from an individual as relatively young as J.B. is. He is a true blues/rock guitar master and demonstrates this to full effect on the “LIVE” disc which, out of his three studio discs, most accurately captures the energy and power of JOE BONAMASSA.
