Brother Janne is a veritable walking encyclopedia of killer heavy riffs and he kicks serious heavy guitar ass all over the place on “Heavy Machinery”. The band also features MATTIAS OSBACK, an excellent vocalist who brings the band to a new level with his oustanding melodic vocal power. Definitely a vocal force to be reckoned with, Mattias is the perfect match for JANNE STARK’s blistering barrage of crunchy heavy riffage. LOCOMOTIVE BREATH also features a solid rhythm section who nail down tight thick grooves for STARK & OSBACK to lay down the heavy rock law (Swedish style!) On top of all the heavy riff magic, Swedish guitar genius MATTIAS EKLUNDH (FREAK KITCHEN) shows up for several blazing trademark solos to further take this awesome heavy disc over the edge. “Heavy Machinery” winds down with an awesome powerful instrumental track called “The Adventures Of Zaphod Beeblebrox” which features several over the top Swedish guitar shredders guesting and rippin’ up their axes along side brother Janne on this classic heavy riff masterpiece. As an added bonus, “Heavy Machinery” features a way-kool mega-killer cover version of a classic song called “I Can’t Fake It” by an incredibly kool mid-70’s classic bluesy hard rock band called TARGET. Stark & Co. do musical justice and an AWESOME job on this killer track, making it their own on this amazingly powerful “updated” version.
